Botox and Dermal Filler Certificate course
This comprehensive 2 day course in both Botox cosmetics and dermal fillers. This course focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of cosmetic injectables including Botox and Dermal filler injections.
This course is offered onsite and is open to regulated health professional only including: nurses, practical nurses, physicians, and dentists who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in administering cosmetic injectable.
Train by registered nurses trained by the inventor name on the patent of Botox Dr Howard Katz.

This comprehensive Botox and Dermal Filler course is taught by registered nurses trained by Dr Howard Katz the inventor name on the patent application of botulinum in person. Dr. Katz has been teaching Botox and Dermal Fillers to physicians, dentists and nurses for over 30 years. His was instrumental in the development of the application of Botulinum toxins in the face and has collaborated with the giants of the aesthetics industry, including Allergan Medicis and Prollenium.
Course schedule includes:
Day 1 Program – Botox Training
9::10am–9:30am Review what is Botox, its action, indication, contraindication, cheat sheet (sites, doses, needle angles, protocols) and animation videos to use after the program and tissue manipulation for ideal injections.
9:30am-10:00am 10:00am–11:00am Upper Face, Glabellar, Forehead and eye treatment protocols guidelines, understanding the medical model, safety techniques and indications. Migraine and TMD protocols will be covered. Proper storage, dilutions, dosing for each application area, reconstituting and shelf life of all Botulinum Toxins on the market.
11:00pm–12:00pm Lower Face/Neck indications, contra-indications techniques and contra-indications – peri-oral hypertonicity, gummy smiles, dimpled chins, platysma ropes.
12:00pm–12:30pm Marketing & Promotion Learn which materials are available from Allergan to incorporate this new procedure into your present practice. Included are all forms, consents, insurance information, and staff selling and common sense marketing concepts to make your practice successful.
2:00pm–5:00pm Hands-On Sessions. Small group sessions with live patients. Attendees will be required to administer Botox - the unique approach to each patient.
Day 2 Program – Dermal Fillers
10:00am-10:30am Anatomy of the Face and Skin, Facial proportions, treatment planning and predictable outcomes, effects of fillers on different sites
10:45am- 11.15am Lips – effects of intra-vermillion and extra-vermillion injections Discussion of the range of Dermal Fillers used to augment the face, Discussion of the bio-degradable, semi-permanent and permanent dermal fillers
11:15am-12:00pm Nasiolabial folds and Marionette lines. When to combine with Botulinum neurotoxins
12:00pm- 12:30 Introduction to Blunt tip Cannula application for fillers. Chins, cheekbones, pre-jowl sulci.
2:00pm – 4:00pm Hands-on Sessions (live patients), Naso Labial Fold, Oral Commissures, Peri Orbital areas, Other common features that respond to Fillers like scars and facial wrinkles not affected by Botox
This course is open to Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Practical Nurses, Physicians, Physician Overseas, Physician Assistants, and Dentists must be in good standing with your professional regulatory body. Upon completion of the course the Botox and Dermal filler Certification will be issued.
This course is fully tax deductible for all participants, and nurses can get reimburse for tuition fees paid up to $1500. From their nursing association if they qualify.
A certificate is awarded upon completion of this course.
